Pasco County in March
Today’s post has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that March is here. February zoomed by some of us so fast we are not sure it was a full month.

March is a good month for some people, as winter is most of the way through and the first day of Spring is on the 20th.
Daylight Saving Time is on the 9th, and while some hope this will be the last time we have to set our clocks to a different time; others will just go along with it.
The 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, and every Irish Pub in the county will be busy, usually serving Corned Beef and Cabbage. Make sure you find one if this is a meal you like, and please, support our local businesses.
Many people are looking for longer days to be able to enjoy doing things outside in the longer light.
Many people will also start planting new plants and manicuring their lawns.
On the 2nd, Pasco County does their own version of the Strawberry Festival at Sims Park.

On the 8th in Land O Lakes Heritage Park, Wayne Baker Brooks is hosting the 9th annual Pasco Blues Festival. If you enjoy blues music, this might be one to attend. Here’s the link to learn more: Wayne Brooks.
March 28th is the Chasco Fiesta. This is 9 day Native American and music festival. Here is a link to this festival to find out more: https://chascofiesta.com/
Among these events there are many more places for March entertainment for you to enjoy, and if you know someone that might also enjoy some of these, feel free to forward this to them.
There is also the Renaissance Festival, the 78th Annual Pasco County Fair, USA Volleyball Fl. Region, The Sunwest Crab & Shrimp Festival, National Margarita Day at Rock and Blues in Lutz, and the International Food Truck Festival also in Lutz.
With so many events and local entertainment options for March it would be hard to be bored this month.
Spring is also Tourist Season in Florida, March Madness Nationally, and so many other events in and around the state.
Plus, Spring Break happens all around the country and many people end up here, so our beaches, businesses and hotels and restaurants should be busy.
It is also the start of buying and selling in the real estate market, and with all of the new subdivisions full of houses that have been recently built, many people are starting to look for a new home.
Social media is part of most everyone’s life one way or another, so make sure you share pictures or videos about the things you do or the places and events you attend.
If you have a pleasant experience at a local restaurant, give the place a thumbs up on your page, they will appreciate it.
While I didn’t mention every single thing happening for the month, there is sure plenty to see and do here.
Florida is known for fishing, onshore and off, if you take part in something on the water, light up someone’s day that would also enjoy seeing the water.
